New cabling

Communications News, Sept, 2006

> Phoenix has selected a NetClear GT3 enhanced Category 6 high-performance horizontal structured cabling system from Berk-Tek and Ortronics/Legrand for the first phase of the city's new two-million-squarefoot convention center. "We wanted to assure that we could enable a customized environment to suit all types of exhibitors and applications, including VoIP phones, high-speed Internet, and intranet and video, without having to change the infrastructure," says Roy Hughes, deputy CIO for the city.
