With a seek time of 3.9 ms operating at 10,000 rpm, the Cheetah NS hard drive uses perpendicular recording technology to provide a capacity of up to 400 GB, while consuming 8 W of power. With a mean time between failures of 1.4 million hours, the unit is available in 3-Gbps SAS or 4-Gbps Fibre Channel interfaces.--Seagate Technology
