A former flight attendant with Fayair, which is owned by Mohamed Al Fayed and based at London-Stansted Airport, has claimed that Fayed sexually harassed her.

The woman claims that on three separate occasions she was called to Fayed`s offices where she encountered unwanted `physical and verbal` sexual advances and apparently left the airline after working there for only three weeks.

She is filing her case with an employment tribunal under the Sex Discrimination Act. The legal papers were apparently served last week.

A spokesperson for Fayed denied the allegations and said that Fayed would `be vigorously defending it and look(ed) forward to dealing with it at the tribunal.` The hearing is expected to occur in February or March 2000 according to PA News.
