Continental Airlines launches fare sale on selected flights

Continental Airlines has launched a fare sale and is offering an additional 5% off select air fares in the US, excluding Alaska, Hawaii and the US Virgin Islands. The sale is valid for tickets purchased via the carrier's web site until 12 November, for travel from 15 November 1999 until 17 February 2000. A 14-day advance purchase restriction applies and the tickets are non-refundable. Other conditions may apply. Continental Airlines has also announced that it will be installing automatic external defibrillators in all 361 of its jet aircraft commencing 2Q'2000.
