In an unusual incident, a British Airways Boeing 747-400 was late to arrive at its gate at London-Heathrow airport on 11 February after it became stuck in a patch of wet concrete.

The flight had actually arrived early from its departure city of New Delhi and officials at the airport speculate that this is probably why the concrete patch laid overnight had not set properly by the time the aircraft landed.

The 300 passengers had to disembark from the aircraft via steps and the aircraft was later towed clear of the concrete.
