Heathrow Airport gets new IT solutions from Servelec

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2000 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

Servelec, an IT company, has installed new computer upgrades valued at GBP400,000 for Heathrow Airport Ltd.

The upgrades are based on Sun Sparc Unix servers and Windows NT workstations and will be used to not only manage the environment within tunnels at the airport but also to improve how airlines are charged for the power their aircraft use while on the ground.
