IAE International Aero Engines to supply V2500 engines to Singapore Aircraft Leasing Enterprise

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2000 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
Aircraft leasing company, Singapore Aircraft Leasing Enterprise, has chosen IAE International Aero Engines AG to supply V2500 turbofan engines to power its new A320 aircraft from Airbus Industrie.
The firm order for the new Airbus fleet was placed in October 1999 and the engine component of the order is valued at USD240m, with deliveries due to commence in 2001.
