Servisair baggage handlers stage industrial action at Cork and Dublin - Brief Article

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2000 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

A strike by about 300 Servisair baggage handlers at Ireland`s Cork and Dublin airports went ahead as expected on 6 January as the workers rejected a new pay offer from the company.

The action is expect to last until 10 January, but will not disrupt Aer Lingus and Ryanair as these two carriers provide their own baggage operators.
