(Corrects error in headline. The aircraft continued to fly on three engines, not one as previously stated).
A Northwest Airlines flight from Detroit, USA to Tokyo was forced to fly for about four hours with one engine shut down due to low oil pressure on 8 January.
The Boeing 747-400 was carrying about 400 passengers and crew, none of whom were injured when the aircraft landed at Tokyo`s Narita airport with one engine out of action.
