EgyptAir flight 990 wreckage inspection underway - Brief Article

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2000 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
Examinations of the salvaged wreckage from the crash of EgyptAir flight 990 on 31 October 1999 have commenced.
Investigators from the US Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Federal Aviation Administration, EgyptAir, Boeing Co and others commenced last week, with the teams apparently focussing on electrical and navigation systems, engines and the exterior.
It is not known how long the investigation will take.
