USA and Argentina in talks to ensure future of open skies agreement - Brief Article

Officials from America and Argentina held talks on 19 January in an attempt by the USA to ensure that an open skies agreement due to be phased in from 1 September is not discarded.
Argentina announced on 7 January that is was postponing the implementation of the open skies agreement because of a rift between Aerolineas Argentinas and American Airlines, which Argentina claims has been mismanaging the Argentinian carrier.
Details of the meeting have not been disclosed.
