Sri Lankan Airlines to acquire five A330-200 - Brief Article

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2000 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

Sri Lankan Airlines is to commence a USD530m expansion programme in 2000 and is intending to acquire about five A330-200 aircraft to boost its fleet.

The aircraft, valued at about USD500m, will be delivered from January to November, and the programme also includes a USD30m modernisation of the airline`s inflight kitchen services through its subsidiary, Air Lanka Catering Services Ltd.
