New Routes - Virgin Atlantic Airways starts seasonal service between London-Gatwick and San Francisco - Brief Article

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2000 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
Commencing 5 July through 28 October 2000 Virgin Atlantic Airways will operate a seasonal non-stop service between San Francisco, USA and London-Gatwick airport, UK.
To promote the service, which will operate four times a week, Virgin is offering Upper Class flying club members the chance to take along a friend for free if they purchase a ticket by 15 September.
A 10% discount is also available off economy fares from the San Francisco to Gatwick for tickets bought online at www.virgin.com by 31 August 2000.
