SIA to promote Indonesia as tourist destination - Singapore Airlines - Brief Article

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2000 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
Singapore Airlines (SIA) has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Indonesian government to promote Indonesia as a tourist destination.
Under the agreement, SIA will contribute about USD3m over the next two years to promote Indonesia in select markets, while the Indonesian government will contribute USD1m.
SIA's involvement in promotion will include helping Indonesian representatives participate in international tourism fairs, while foreign media representatives and travel agents will be invited to visit the country.
Promotions will also occur in the airline's in-flight magazine and video as well as its web site.
