Bangkok Airways has begun flying two new routes to Cambodia. A flight from Sukhothai to Siem Reap was launched on Tuesday 28 March and a flight from Pattaya to Phnom Penh began on Wednesday 29 March.
Bangladesh Commerce Minister Abdul Jalil announced recently that two direct weekly flights between Dhaka and Colombo will start soon. The government has decided to operate two weekly flights initially and if these are successful a third flight would be considered.
South American airline Varig will lease more aircraft to increase the number of flights to Chile and Italy, and to create a new route to Munich, Germany.
