United Airlines has announced that it has completed the installation of larger overhead bins on all its Boeing 757 aircraft.

The modified bins provide customers with more depth thus providing additional storage space. The new bins can accommodate up to four pieces of popular 22in roll-aboard-style luggage in each bin.

Graham Atkinson, United Airlines senior vice president in Marketing said the roomier bins will make the boarding process more efficient by reducing delays that occur when customers must check their personal baggage because the overhead bin space is full.
