Landing gear door falls off Delta Air Lines B727

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2000 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
A landing gear door fell off a Delta Air Lines B727 on Wednesday 29 March and landed in the middle of a quiet residential street.
The 30lb piece of sheetmetal fell from Flight 1827 shortly after takeoff from Logan International Airport. No one was injured in the incident.
The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the incident.
