NTSB asks US Navy to recover more parts of crashed EgyptiAir aircraft

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2000 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
The US National Transportation Safety Board has asked the US Navy's Supervisor of Salvage and Diving to recover further components of the EgyptAir aircraft that crashed on 31 October 1999.
Specifically, the NTSB is interested in recovering the remaining engines and additional flight control components that were not recovered during salvage operation in December 1999.
The salvage operation is expected to commence on 18 March 2000 and will take up to about ten days.
