The UK's JMC Airlines has placed a firm order with Boeing Co. for two Boeing 757-300 aircraft, making the airline the fifth customer to choose the new model.

Until Boeing Co. recently announced the order JMC Airlines was listed as 'unidentified' for the order, which was accounted for in cumulative order totals recently published by Boeing.

JMC Airlines is the first holiday carrier in the UK to order the new Boeing 757-300. Icelandair has two of the aircraft on order while American Trans Air plans to acquire 10.
