Volvo Aero receives new aircraft engine components orders - Brief Article

The Swedish aircraft engines maker Volvo Aero has received significant new orders as results of new international air plane orders.
Volvo Aero is to supply engine components for 26 Airbus aircraft ordered by GE Capital Aviation Services and 37 Boeing 737-800 aircraft ordered by American Trans Air. The combined value of the orders will amount to more than SEK240m for Volvo Aero's part.
Volvo Aero also recently received engine components orders in connection with Alitalia's order for five Boeing 747s and Air France's order for new Airbuses. For Volvo Aero the combined value of all recent orders amounts to approximately SEK500m.
