Bombardier receives firm orders from Japanese carriers

Nagasaki Airways of Japan has purchased a second 39-seat Q200 turboprop aircraft from Bombardier Aerospace, a Canadian aircraft manufacturer.
Delivery of the first aircraft is expected in 1Q'2001 and the second in 4Q'2001.
Bombardier Aerospace has also sold two 50-seat CRJ Series regional jet aircraft to Japan Airlines (JAL).
JAL has placed the order on behalf of its wholly-owned subsidiary J-Air, which is based in Hiroshima. The order from JAL is valued at USD44m and represents the conversion of two of three options taken in January 2000.
Deliveries will take place between 4Q'2000 and 2Q'2002.
