British Airways (BA) has indicated that it will be introducing larger Boeing 747 aircraft on its flights from London to Barbados during the Caribbean island's peak tourist season beginning November-December.

The larger aircraft will apparently make room for the airline's first-class passengers who would normally fly with the Concorde, which is currently suspended.

BA currently uses a Boeing 777 to Barbados, which will continue to operate on weekends while the 747s operate on weekdays according to The Associated Press.
