The digital data products and services supplier Jouve Data Management and CommerceQuest Inc, an e-business integration provider, have agreed to combine their technologies to enable the secure delivery of technical and inventory data over the Internet to airlines and their suppliers.
Leveraging the SPEC 2000 and 2100 industry standards the companies aim to link all value chain stakeholders to aircraft part procurement databases and digital marketplaces to provide integration of aircraft technical and materials management data over the Internet.
For aerospace original equipment manufacturers, operators and maintenance/repair/operations providers, the integration will offer an ability to manage technical documentation between and across their enterprises. In addition the system will provide up-to-date aircraft parts information, allowing users to research technical data and order parts in a single session.
