AeroMexico launches online ticket auctions

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2000 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
AeroMexico has launched a real-time web auction of air tickets at http://TheDailyAuction.com.
Tickets are available for flights between the US and Mexico from 11 September and auctions will take place on an hourly basis between 1200 EST and 1700 EST throughout September. Tickets will be posted at opening prices and bids will be accepted in increments of USD20, USD30 or USD50, with all tickets issued as non-refundable e-tickets.
AeroMexico gateways in the US that are included in the auction are Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami and New York. Destinations in Mexico include Cancun, Cozumel, Mexico City and Puerto Vallarta.
