AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2001 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

All Nippon Airways, a Japanese carrier, is considering a new direct air link between Tokyo and Hanoi, Vietnam. No start date has been given. The carrier recently began a twice-weekly service between Ho Chi Minh City and Tokyo under a code-share agreement with Vietnam Airlines, AsiaPulse reported.

Delta Air Lines and Delta Connection carriers Atlantic Southeast Airlines and Comair will introduce new services between Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport and three cities on 1 June. The new flights include a twice-daily round-trip service to Raleigh/Durham and three daily nonstop flights to each of Mobile and Monroe. Further, on 1 July, Delta will introduce a nonstop flight to Louisville to replace the current one-stop flight.

Bouraq Airlines, an Indonesian carrier, has recommenced flights between Davao City and Mindanao and will operate a twice-weekly service using HS 748 aircraft according to AsiaPulse.
