Delta to sell SNCF train tickets

Delta Air Lines, a US carrier, is due soon to start selling train tickets under a new partnership with French rail service, SNCF.

Train tickets will be sold on the carrier`s web site as part of airfare purchases. The trains will operate from Paris` Charles de Gaulle International Airport, the hub of SkyTeam partner Air France, to and from Angers, LeMans, Lille, Lyon Part-Dieu, Nantes, Poitiers, Rennes and St. Pierre des Corps.

Under the agreement, Delta Air Lines` SkyMiles frequent flyer members will receive a minimum of 500 miles per train segment.
