Frontier Airlines, a US carrier, has adopted 24-hour, seven-days-a-week medical support provided by MedAire's Emergency Telemedicine Service, MedLink.

The service will allow the airline's crews to consult directly with a certified emergency physician in the case of an in-flight emergency, effective immediately.

Frontier Airlines is also intending to fit its Boeing 737 and future Airbus aircraft with Heartstream FR2 AED (automatic external defibrillators) from Agilent Technologies.
