Icelandair and Amtrak offer first train/flight travel package

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2001 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
Icelandair has formed a new partnership with the US rail company Amtrak and is offering a unique US train and flight code-share deal.
From 31 May onwards travellers can purchase tickets for travel between Washington DC or Philadelphia to Scandinavia, the UK and Continental Europe. Passengers will travel with Amtrack from Washington or Philadelphia to connect with Icelandair's daily flights from Baltimore/Washington International Airport.
Tickets are only available through Icelandair, which can be found at http://www.icelandair.com.
