National Airlines in serious talks with potential lenders

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2001 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
National Airlines, a US carrier based in Las Vegas, is apparently in talks with two investors about financing that would enable it to emerge from bankruptcy.
The carrier's lawyers told the US Bankruptcy Court recently that it was "well down the road" to securing a loan, but the potential lenders have not been named according to The Associated Press.
A reorganisation plan for National Airlines is to be presented to the court at a 9 November hearing.
