British tourists on a Go airline flight from Malaga, Spain to London-Stansted Airport in the UK, were terrified when a French warplane homed in on the Boeing 737-300 at 30,000ft.
The warplane was reportedly sent up when the aircraft, carrying 126 passenger and five crew, temporarily lost radio contact with air traffic controllers.
Passengers were shocked when the fighter jet suddenly appeared 100 feet away from the Boeing's left wingtip. Cabin crew reassured passengers and, after radio contact was re-established, the warplane was called off, PA News reported.
