Man who hid knives in socks could face 15 years in prison

A man was arrested last week at Phoenix Sky Harbour International Airport as he attempted to carry four hard plastic knives on to America West Airlines flight 151 to St. Louis.
The knives were hidden in the man's socks and he claimed to be fearful for his safety after the recent terrorist attacks on the Pentagon and World Trade Center. The man was charged with one count of attempting to carry a concealed dangerous weapon on to an aircraft, and reportedly faces a possible 15 years in prison if convicted.
