Egypt will not ban Russian aircraft

Egypt is not planning to ban Russian airlines' flights to the country in the near future.

An official statement from the department for the development of tourism of the Republic of Egypt's Embassy in Russia has specified that the issue of updating Russian aircraft in accordance with the International Civil Aviation Organisation's requirements is currently being discussed by Russian and Egyptian civil aviation experts.

Egyptian authorities have requested Russian airlines to submit the schedules of updating their aircraft in accordance with the environmental requirements, reported RosBusinessConsulting.
