Chairman of Hooters purchases Pace Airlines

The owner of Hooters restaurant chain has reportedly purchased small North Carolina carrier, Pace Airlines.
The chairman of Hooters of America Inc., who previously attempted to purchase Vanguard Airlines, is planning to establish a new charter service called Hooters Air. Pace Airlines - which specialises in corporate shuttles and business jets - has 17 Boeing aircraft and 350 employees.
The financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed, reported The Associated Press.
