An American Airlines flight from Barranquilla, Colombia to Miami was grounded for more than three hours on Friday (25 January) after the flight crew found suspicious packages on board.
Officials were alerted and bomb sniffing dogs were brought in. The packages were cleared to leave and the flight departed behind schedule.
For security reasons officials also closed the airport. Dogs checked the facility and runways before the airport was reopened.
