Passengers at the two airports serving Paris, France - Charles de Gaulle and Orly - may face flight delays today (11 July) due to a protest by security personnel.
Unions representing employees of ASA and SIFA, the two companies that check baggage at Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports, have reportedly asked personnel to deliberately cause delays by searching passengers and their carry-on luggage more slowly and meticulously than usual.
The employees have been protesting on and off for weeks to demand better pay and additional staff, reports The Associated Press.
