AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2002 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

Bangladesh and Thailand have reportedly agreed on a new air service between the two countries. The agreement - reached during official talks between Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia and her Thai counterpart Thaksin Shinatwatra - covers a new air service between Chittagong, Bangladesh and Chiangmai city in Thailand, in addition to the existing Dhaka-Bangkok air links.

Northwest Airlines has selected the Children's HeartLink as its newest partner in the Northwest AirCares charitable support programme. Under the three-month partnership, members of Northwest's WorldPerks free travel programme can contribute at least USD50 to Children's HeartLink. Those customers who make a contribution from now until 30 September 2002 will receive 500 WorldPerks Bonus Miles.
