Peruvian airline Aero Continente plans to introduce new routes from the United States to Europe and Asia.

Aero Continente recently received permission to fly from the United States to other countries, and the carrier's president Lupe Zevallos said that services to Tokyo, Japan; Madrid, Spain; and London, UK were under consideration. Zevallos suggested that routes from the US could be launched in about four months.

Aero Continente is one of the region's fastest-growing airlines, according to Reuters. It has 60% of the Peruvian market and currently flies to eight Latin American countries and the United States.
