Delta Air Lines and Korean Air Lines are reportedly planning to file for US antitrust immunity as early as next week.

The two airlines are partners in the SkyTeam alliance, however antitrust immunity would allow them to operate as one carrier by sharing revenues, scheduling and pricing.

From May 2002, the two airlines will launch a codesharing agreement which will cover service to seven US cities and flights to Seoul and Pusan, South Korea and Tokyo and Osaka, Japan.
