A Kenyan industrialist is reportedly suing British Airways (BA) for general damages suffered during a flight with the airline.

The man filed the lawsuit after the airline allegedly inconvenienced him and his family when they were forced to sit in Economy Class instead of Club Class during a holiday trip to Australia. The man has claimed that the family holiday was spoilt, and that BA caused them mental anguish and disappointment.

The High Court has ordered BA to compensate the man, who is seeking close to KES7.8m in damages, reported The East African Standard.
