Twelve former Kenya Airways employees are reportedly suing the airline, after they were dismissed in April 2002 for alleged involvement in drug trafficking.
The airline dismissed a total of 32 employees after investigations which indicated that they were involved in illegal narcotics trafficking.
However, 12 of the employees dismissed over the incident have now filed a lawsuit which seeks damages for defamation, injurious falsehoods and malice occasioned them by the airline and two of its managers, according to The East African Standard.
