Virgin Atlantic Airways has selected Oracle's E-Business Suite to improve its business process and reduce costs.
The airline has reportedly chosen to implement the Oracle Financials, Oracle Human Resources (HR), Oracle Payroll and Oracle iLearning modules of the Oracle E-Business Suite. The software will allow the airline to integrate a single e-business system, which will enable personnel to have self-service access to business and personal information online, including training, fiance, payroll and personal details.
The applications will be implemented across Virgin Atlantic's UK operations and international offices in the US, the Caribbean, Africa, India and the Far East.
