Greek carrier, Olympic Airways will cancel its regularly scheduled flights to Australia from 1 November 2002.

The airline currently operates two scheduled flights to Australia per week. The flights, which serve Melbourne and Sydney, are to be cancelled after a detailed evaluation of the routes revealed a financial drain on the carrier.

Olympic Airways is, however, expected to operate several flights on the route during the first two weeks of November to accommodate passengers who have already purchased seats, reported The Associated Press.
