Cessna 310 aircraft crashes in San Salvador, killing all five on board

A small Cessna 310 aircraft crashed into a mountain in San Salvador, El Salvador yesterday (9 September), killing all five people on board.
The flight had departed from La Aurora airport in Guatemala City for Ilopango airport, but lost contact with air traffic controllers before crashing into the slopes of the San Salvador volcano. The aircraft had reportedly been carrying a pilot and four Guatemalan businessmen.
Aviation officials are currently investigating the cause of the crash, reported The Associated Press.
