American Airlines has installed Self-Service Check-In machines at New Orleans International Airport and Reno/Tahoe International Airport.

The airline has installed six machines at New Orleans airport and three at Reno. The machines allow passengers to check in for their flights, select their seats, obtain boarding passes, and check luggage. The airline's customer service representatives are also available to assist passengers with the process.

Those passengers using the Self-Service Check-In machines for the first time will receive 500 AAdvantage bonus miles.

American Airlines also offers mobile curbside check-in units for customers with paper or electronic tickets, and a Roving Agent - a wireless hand-held device operated by airline employees - for passengers travelling without checked baggage.
