United Airlines has launched interline electronic ticketing with Alaska Airlines.

Customers can now use a single electronic ticket when their itineraries include travel on both airlines. Previously, customers with e-tickets were required to convert to a paper ticket before transferring between the carriers. The interline e-tickets are issued by both United Airlines and Alaska Airlines through their respective reservation centres and at airport locations and ticket offices.

United Airlines also offers interline e-ticketing with American Airlines, Air Canada, Delta Air Lines, Continental Airlines, Northwest Airlines and US Airways.
