Air Canada's flight schedule has reportedly returned to normal following a power outage across northeastern US and Canada.
The airline was forced to ground its worldwide flights for about eight hours on Friday (15 August) when the emergency power system at its main flight control centre in Toronto crashed. However, after three days operations are now running to schedule, despite a few flight delays in Montreal and Toronto which are attributed to normal hiccups caused by peak demand in the summer season.
Air Canada has said that it is too soon to evaluate the financial fallout from the blackout, Reuters reported.
