A Gulf Air flight was delayed for almost eight hours yesterday (28 August) due to an engine problem.

The Boeing 767 aircraft was scheduled to operate a flight from Bahrain to Jordan with 90 passengers on board, however it was delayed because of a problem with an engine. The passengers were placed in hotels until the flight could depart.

The delay also affected about 200 Bahrain-bound passengers in Jordan, who were also given hotel accommodation.
