European Commission not expected to rule on Olympic Airways until 2004

The European Commission is not expected to rule on Olympic Airways' rescue plan until next year.
An EU transport spokesperson has denied any delay in the investigation, but revealed that hundreds of pages of documents submitted by the Greek government in Greek have to be translated.
The Commission has questioned EUR5m of aid to Olympic Airways, and alleges that the carrier received illegal compensation, reported The Associated Press.
