London's Stansted Airport is expected to get the go-ahead to build a new runway under a 30-year strategy for aviation.
According to a report by the Financial Times, a new runway is expected at Stansted Airport after pollution concerns ruled out an expansion at London's Heathrow Airport in the near future.
UK Transport Secretary Alistair Darling will unveil his 30-year strategy for aviation next month, reported Reuters.
