AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2003 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

On 1 May 2004, US Airways will reinstate its nonstop seasonal service between Pittsburgh and London's Gatwick Airport. The flights will be operated daily through to 29 October 2004, using Boeing 767 aircraft. Customers can purchase tickets on these flights from today (10 December).

In May 2004, American Airlines will launch a daily nonstop service between New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport and Brussels, Belgium, opening a second US gateway to Belgium. The carrier will also expand its relationship with SN Brussels, with the Belgian carrier placing its code on the new flights. The codeshare agreement will provide customers with the opportunity to fly beyond Brussels to European destinations such as Milan, Munich and Vienna as well as strategic destinations in Africa, including Dakar and Kinshasa.
